He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Pierson and Helen Pierson; his former life partner Mary Ford Pierson; his wife Carolyn Sue Turner Pierson; his daughter Debra Pierson; and his siblings, Margaret Pierson Townsend, Elizabeth Pierson Watkins and John Pierson.
He is survived by : his daughter Mimi Pierson Jackson (Bryan); and his grandsons, Justin Jackson and Trevor Jackson. He is also survived by his wives, children, and grandchildren.
