She was predeceased by: her parents, Talmadge Bozeman and Frances Bozeman; her husband Roger Thieme; her son Allan Thieme; her daughter-in-law Stacie Thieme; her brother Edward Bozeman; and her sister-in-law Diane Bozeman.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Thieme (Paula) and Kristi Ely (Jack); her grandson Jason Ely (Megan); her great grandchildren, Brooks and Kate Ely; her sister-in-law Emma Thieme; and her caregiver Michelle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in New Braunfels, Texas.
