He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Meredith and Lillie Mae Martin (Richey); his wife Lila Fay Martin; his daughter Cathy Elaine Martin; his grandson Buddy Clayton Shackelford; his great grandchild Lillian Faye Staggs; and his siblings, Clarence Johnson (Bub), Joyce Martin and Lone Dietrich.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julia Scott (Gary) of Lubbock, TX and Tammy Jones (Dave) of New Deal, TX; and his siblings, Ron Holford of Boise, ID and Shirley Talley of Tecumsah, OK.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
