With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cherry Elizabeth Morris of New Waverly, Texas, who passed away on July 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Freeman Worry and Edna Juanita Bradberry Worry; her husband Curtis Dee Morris; her son Christopher Dee Morris; and her grandson Matthew Henry Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Christina D. Hart and Clayton D. Morris (Olivia); her siblings, Rita Worry, Carol Worry, Ricky Worry (Robin), Joe Worry (Cindy) and Henry Pilgreen; her grandchildren, Natalie, Hayes Hart, Cameron, Cade Morris, Joshua, Hannah, Christian, Grace, Asher, Seth Morris and Brianna Keller; and her close friend Arthur Prejean. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sterling Funeral Homes - Anahuac (1201 S Main St, Anahuac, TX 77514). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Smith Point Community Church (119 Edward's Ave, Anahuac, TX 77514).
