He was predeceased by : his siblings, James, Tommy, Ida Ruth, Betty, Dena and Julia.
He is survived by : his wife Threcia Blalock; his children, Kathy Burgess (Chuck), Marshall Howard Blalock Jr., Michael Davis (Helen) and Michele Hoot (Mike); and his grandchildren, Jeb, Ashton, Angie, Will, Oliva, Jennifer, Bradley, Robert, Christopher, Chris and Caleb.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
