He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Paul Maldonado Sr.; his grandparents, F. C. Franco and Josephina Franco; his aunt Guadalupe Rangel; and his uncle Robert Maldonado.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Helen Maldonado; his children, Ashlyn Maldonado, Devon Murillo, Dylan Maldonado and Derek Maldonado; his grandchildren, Owen, Jaxton, Londyn, Levi and Liam; his siblings, Joseph Maldonado, Jacob Maldonado, Monica Garcia and Dolores "Dee" Maldonado-Covington; and his nieces and nephews, Nikole, Emily Grace, John Wesley, Amaris, Jace, Oaklynn Mae, Kaden and Kai.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church- Nixon (207 S Washington Ave, Nixon, TX 78140). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nixon Latin American Cemetery (1277 TX-97, Nixon, Texas 78140, United States).
