She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Burks and Mary Burks (McQueen) of Norton, Texas.; her husband LeRoy Burris; her siblings, Sanford, Chester Burks and Mary Loyce Ray; and her grandson Matthew Burris.

She is survived by : her children, Lin Rostine (Bob) of Norton, Vonda Charles of Norton and Kevin Burris (Deana) of Stanton; and her siblings, Bill Burks (Kay) of Buchanan Dam and Frances Bryan of Ballinger. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
