He is survived by: his wife Virginia Short Michael; his children, Danny Michael (Patti), Tim Michael (Becky), Ronny Michael (Lynn), Lonny Michael (Cheryl) and Melissia Chipman (Joel); his grandchildren, Shane Michael (Stacie), Zach Michael (Cheryl), Justin Michael (Angye), Kasey Skidmore (Aaron), Cody Michael (Deb), Tyler Michael (Haley), Caleb Michael (Chelsie), Noah Chipman (Haley), Luke Chipman, Sydney Chipman and Chris Michael; and his siblings, Linda Slaton, Glenda Coker and Howard Michael. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
