He is survived by : his wife Norma; his son Ernesto; his father Gregorio Martinez Prieto; his siblings, Guillermo Martinez Olivas (Luz Maria), Roberto Martinez (Yadira), Erick Castor (Mayra), Rodolf Castor, Edelmira Martinez (Juan Ramon Astorga), Maria and Socorro Martinez; his nieces and nephews, Mariana, Yuri, Karen, Angela, Abigail, Guillermo Jr., Rafael, Ruben, Diego, Sebastian, Aramis, Erick, Irving and Allan; and his cousins, Jose Castor and Yuri Castor.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Acres West Funeral Chapel (8115 W University Blvd, Odessa, TX 79764). A rosary was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (2633 Conover Ave, Odessa, TX 79763). A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (6801 I-20BL, Odessa, TX 79762).
