He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robinson and Gladys Henderson Green; and his siblings, Billie Harris and Arbert Ross (Glynn Ross). He is survived by: his son Jerry Lamont Ross (Brenda); his close friend Felicia Jernigan; his siblings, Carlos Ross, Lela Ross, Jannie Calicutt, Hazel Edwards (Robert), Mary Rivera (Ramon), Deborah Bledsoe (late Michael), Patricia Christian and Larette Johnson; his aunt Corsetta Calloway; his uncle Richard Calloway; his stepdaughter Demetria Thompson; and his stepgrandson Delante Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Martinez Funeral Home & Crematory (1040 S Dixie Blvd, Odessa, TX 79761). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kingdom Life Center (3631 Kermit Hwy, Odessa, TX 79764).
