She was predeceased by : her parents, Bessie Barnes and Henry Barnes; her husband Herman Robert Clair; and her daughters, Gail Lyon and Karen Clair.

She is survived by : her children, Sharon Ayars (Rick), Pamela Brown, Herman Clair Jr., Donny Clair (Julie) and Kristi Clair; and her grandchildren, Billy, April, John, Loran, Garrett, Kaelyn, Herman III, Maddie, Clayton, Tyler, Jordan, Merbia, Krista and Trista. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
