He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Juarez and Julia Mendoza Juarez; and his siblings, Gilberto (Mercedes), Ricardo Juarez and Maria of Refugio Aguilar.

He is survived by: his wife Modesta Salcido; and his children, Yolanda Juarez Sandate (Johnny Sandate), Danny S. Juarez (Michelle Cortez), David Juarez (Lulu Cisneros) and Jesse Juarez (Irma Machuca). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
