She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Claborn and Olene Claborn (Crawford); her grandparents, Otho and Leslie Claborn (House); her husband James Woodrow Melton; her siblings, Betty Geisler Siekman and Ozell Claborn; and her nephew James Wesley Geisler II.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Mary Tom Rainwater Claborn of Olton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elm Cemetery (89470 Eastland County, TX 76448).
