He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Hinzman Belt and Rosalie Belt (Dodt); his daughters, Jennifer Christopoulos, Christy Belt and Tiphany Belt; and his brothers, Tom Belt and Gary Belt.

He is survived by : his wife Verna Belt of Onalaska, Texas; his brothers, Gordon Belt of Texas and George Belt of Texas; his granddaughters, Codean Belt of Michigan and Madelynn Duke of Michigan; his stepsons, Joe Goolsby (Mandy) and Casey Williams (Joaney); and his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Williams and Karter Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
