He was predeceased by: his parents, Apostle Linston Tripplett, Sr. and Everlina Antwine Tripplett; his former wife Gloria Mae Moton Tripplett; and his siblings, Bobby, Alvin Tripplett, Bernstein, Geneva and Rae Tripplett.

He is survived by: his children, Gladys Faye Tripplett-Sapp of Iowa, LA and Linston Tripplett, III of Iowa, LA; his wife Hyacinth Gopaul-Tripplett of Lake Charles, LA; his daughter Brenda Davis of Iowa, LA; and his siblings, Hester Tripplett of Alexandria, LA, Carol Hall Tripplett of Oakdale, LA and Brenda Raney of Oakdale, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
