We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2023, at the age of 58, Gary James Chauvin of Orange, Texas, born in Franklin, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Raymond Thibodeaux (Judy Chauvin); his sons, Tony Chauvin and Gary Chauvin; and his siblings, Shane Thibodeaux and Wendy Chauvin.

He is survived by : his mother Judy Chauvin; his adoptive parent Jess Chauvin (Laura Derouen Chauvin); his children, Chrissy Chauvin (Alvin Perro) of Lafayette Louisiana, Allana Chauvin (Christian Holmes) of Shreveport Louisiana, Becky Bailey (Casey Bailey) of Orange, Christina Hines (Benjamin) of Broussard, Crystal Romero (Calvin) of Abbeyville, Louisiana and Steven Hazel (Crystal) of Church Point, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Casey Bailey, Jr., Almyriah Jackson, James Bailey, Dwayne Lee, Jr., Deshawn, Dewaune, Devon, Jaythan, Queen-Arya, Sebastian, Brynlee and Jade; and his siblings, Mark Thibodeaux, Raymond Tibodeaux, Jr., Kevin Thibodeaux, Alton Thibodeaux, Joseph Thibodeaux, Troy Thibodeaux and Theresa Chauvin. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
