He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence David Hammock and Eleanor Gates Hammock; his wife Joyce Buxton Hammock; his brother Joe Bob Hammock; his granddaughter Caroline Faith Martin; his uncle George; and his aunt Thelma Coleman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Hammock Martin (John) and Brenda Hammock Griffin; his brother Billy David Hammock (Sylvia); and his grandchildren, Jonas David Martin, Katheryn Victoria Griffin and Taylor Lyllian Martin (Gabrielle Pea). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Claybar Funeral Home (504 5th St, Orange, TX 77630, USA). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
