He was predeceased by: his parents, Sie Boone and Helen Calloway Boone; and his siblings, Georgia Gans and Scotty Boone. He is survived by: his wife Peggie Boone; his children, Corey Byrd (Naddie) of Houston, Lewis Anthony Payne of Orange, Tiffany Turner of Orange, Antonio D'Marcus Boone of Dallas and Willie Boone, Jr. (Sarah) of Orange; his siblings, Nathan Ray Boone (Beatrice), Anthony Boone, Ethele Herbert, Mary Chargois (Mike), Elcie Dean Boone, Fannie Boone and Elaine Boone; his aunt Betty Calloway; and his goddaughters, Kayla Offord of Orange and Kasheta McDonald of Orange. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
