He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Tackett and Dorothy Kelsoe Tackett; his wife Thresa Tackett; and his sister Ginger Dell Tackett. He is survived by: his children, Chad Tackett (Emily) of Burleson and Whitney Rozell (Jason) of Ore City; his siblings, Rose Stringer of Clarksville, Dennis Tackett (Cindy) of Mt. Pleasant and Michael Tackett of Clarksville; and his grandchildren, Cole Farish, Case Farish, Carter Farish and Alex Tackett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home (100 W College Ave, Clarksville, TX 75426). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
