She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Moon and Nettie Moon; her sisters, Woodie Mae Veasley of Ore City, Odessa Moon of Ore City, Nell Stevens of Ore City and Vera Brantley of Houston, Texas; Eugene Moon of Ore City, Texas.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Reeder-Davis Funeral Home - Ore City (109 US-259, Ore City, TX 75683). The lying in state was held on Friday, January 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Murry Leage Baptist Church (603 E Main St, Ore City, TX 75683).
