It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peary Brock Wood of Ore City, Texas, born in Seymour, Texas, who passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Peary leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his children, Debbie Brants and Kyle Wood; and his brother Doug Wood. He is survived by: his close friend Jeanie Rooks; and his children, Peary Don Wood (Debbie) and Dawn Milson (Nick). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a number of extended family and many dear friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ore City Cemetery (210 Wisteria Rd, Ore City, TX 75683).
