We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2020, at the age of 84, Edgar Lane Smith of Paige, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Leonard and Lillian Nora Smith (Nichols); his wife Shirley Smith; and his sisters, Nancy Pennington and Linda Justice.

He is survived by : his sons, Gary (Debra Smith) and Larry (Kim Smith); and his grandchildren, Gary Wade Smith of Giddings, Stephen, Nikki Smith of Wichita Falls, Clifton, Erin Smith of Paige, Amanda Smith (Fred Houston) of Schulenburg, Andy, Renay Smith of Lexington, Brandi Smith of Giddings and Kenon Smith of Copperas Cove. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, P.O. Box 73, Paige, Texas 78659 or the charity of one's choice.
