He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Mize and Otha Gabbart Mize; and his siblings, Otha Alphin, Margie Alphin, Corrine Connally (Cody), Bennie Mize, Billy Mize, Lee Mize and Oran Mize.
He is survived by : his brother Jimmie Mize; and his sisters-in-law, Nell Mize and Nedra Mize. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
