She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence M. Trull and Bruce W. Trull; her husband Garland Brooking; her daughter Laura Jean Brooking Lewis; and her siblings, Jean Herlin, Bob Trull and Carl Trull.

She is survived by : her children, Carl Brooking (Patsy), Anita O'Mara and Millard Brooking (Sherry); her son-in-law Robert Lewis; her grandchildren, Chris Richardson (Kevin), Carter Brooking (Taryl), Nancy Goree (Jon), Elise Azara (John), Kate Powers (Mike), Kayla Smiley (John) and Avery Barnes (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Colin, Brooke, Emma Richardson, Lauren, Ryder Brooking, Ehren Goree, Claire Azara, Luke, Tenley Smiley, Keaton and Turner Barnes; and her sister Laura Tate.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Georgetown, Texas; Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly, Hunt, Texas; or a charity of your choice.
