She was predeceased by : her parents, Simone Yanes and Margarita Suniga Yanes; and her sisters, Mary Lou Vega and Irene Benevidez. She is survived by : her sons, Oscar Mata, Danny Mata and Clyde Mata; and her siblings, Margaret Nunez, Gloria Sanchez, Joanne Linden, Linda Villagran, Gilbert Yanes, Joe Yanes, Victor Yanes and Joe Morales. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
