Anita Mae Lamb Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Mae Lamb (Palestine, Texas), born in Anderson, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 13, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eli Wesley Teel and Cora Main Teel; her husband Lester Lamb; her daughters, Donna Evans and Debbie Modisette; and her cousin Mamie Jo Huddleston.
She is survived by: her son Darwin Lamb (Gayle); her sister Leta Alexander; her sons-in-law, Larry Evans and Mike Modisette; and her grandsons, David Modisette (Heather), Scott Evans (Jenna), D. J. Lamb (Jaimie) and Brannon Lamb. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rhone Memorial Chapel (3900 S State Hwy 19, Palestine, TX 75801). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Roselawn Park (207 S Magnolia St, Palestine, TX 75801).
