He was predeceased by: his parents, Sally O'Neal and James O'Neal; his sisters, Mary Nell O'Neal and Peggy Howland; his brother-in-law Morris Howland; and his son-in-law Michael S. Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Evangeline M. O'Neal; his children, Sherry Lyn Landers (Loyd Landers), James Timothy Shawn O'Neal (Rebecca O'Neal), Schelby Ann Wells, Gerald Allen O'Neal and Charles T. O'Neal, Jr. (Jenny O'Neal); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Kamka. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
