Curtis Axum Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Curtis Axum of Palestine, Texas, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father J. L. Jake Axum; and his grandparents, Ruby Hill, Tucker and Belle Axum. He is survived by: his mother Mary Hill Axum Langston (H. L.); his significant other Lynn Axum; his children, Brandon Axum and Amy Axum of Mississippi; his siblings, Michael Axum of Palestine and Sheri Travelstead (Greg) of Palestine; his stepbrothers, Jerry Langston of Dallas, Kerry Langston of Athens and Garry Langston of Athens; his grandchildren, Tyler Feranda of Mississippi, Jordan Feranda of Mississippi and Caden Taylor McGrath of Baton Rouge, LA; his siblings' children, Cole Hudson (Lindsey), Derrik DeBerry, Dakota Hudson (Jessica), Brandy Wilson, Allyson Axum, Sarah Jane Axum and Anna Axum; and his aunt Judy Reed of Denson Springs.
