With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Yvonne Britt Barton of Palestine, Texas, born in Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on December 27, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wendell H. Britt and Myrtice Lucile Fuller Britt; her daughter Melanie Carole Williams; and her husband Lamar "Buddy" Barton. She is survived by : her children, Michael Williams (Vicki) of Palestine, Mark Williams (Tammy) of Palestine, Rick Barton (Holly) of Indiana and Sabra Singleton (Ray) of Houston; her brother Wendell Eugene Britt (Melanie) of Houston; her grandchildren, Devin Williams (Courtney), Kayla Williams, Trey Lambright (Kristy), Kortni Russo and Cole Russo; and her great grandchildren, Ailynn, Leightyn, Silas, Jordan, Alexa, Stevie, Reed, Casie and Jax.
