He is survived by: his mother Dixie Berryhill Armstrong Wright; his children, Partick Gordon Armstrong of Palestine and Daylene Armstrong Collette (Bo) of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Megan Hogan (Nick), Brent Collette of Jaxon and Callan Collette; his great grandchildren, Ellynece Estelle Hogan and Dorothy Daylene Hogan; his brothers, Clyde Armstrong (Donna), Daniel Armstrong, Darrell Armstrong (Tammy) and John Day (Debbie); and his siblings' children, Jason Armstrong (Allison), Jonathan Armstrong (Rachel), Justin Armstrong (Kaitlyn Armstrong), Allex Armstrong, Allen Armstrong, Jody D'Angelo (Sandy), Jennifer Thompson (Chad), Micheal O'Bannon, Keaton O'Bannon and Lauren Vallery (Heath).
