It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Adams of Palestine, Texas, born in Oakwood, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Austin Smith and Mary Ethel Davis (James Forrest Adams). She is survived by : her children, Linda Dell Moreland and Rodney Adams; and her sister Rebecca Boyd of Palestine, Texas. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Christian Center (10856 US-79, Oakwood, TX 75831). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at the Mount Pisgah Cemetery (Oakwood, TX 75855).
