He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Cowan and Dollie Cowan; his wife Leanna Odell; his sons, Gabriel Cowan and Christopher Cowan; his siblings, Jeannie Wilkinson, Gwenda Peets, Sherman Cowan and Robert Cowan; and his brother-in-law Kent Kelp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Raeanna Humphrey (Jonathon) of Pampa and Teddi Cowan (Gage Carruth) of Pampa; his sister Vicki Kelp of White Deer; his grandchildren, Jessica Cowan (Phillip), Bridgette Humphrey, Jaylee Torres, Zavier Torres and Phoenix Carruth; and his great grandchildren, Ava Hernandez Waldrop and Liam Hernandez Waldrop. He is also survived by his grandchildren, his daughters, his extended family.
