He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Sparks and Wilma Dean Sands Sparks; and his sister Tami Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Robbie Workman Sparks; his children, Bobby Neal Sparks (Sammie) and Rachel Shaffer (Jason); his grandchildren, Noah Neal Shaffer, Anthony Sparks, Chris Boren, Brandon Carrol, Jai Shaffer and Shelby Jenkins; and his siblings, Penny Parten, Glenn Seal and Danny Sparks. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
