Juan Antonio Polendo Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juan Antonio Polendo of Pampa, Texas, who passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mariana Polendo and Antonio Polendo; his son Abel Polendo; and his siblings, Julia Leal and Guadalupe Polendo.

He is survived by: his significant other Dominga Martinez Polendo; his children, Angie Summers (Joseph) of Pampa, Irene Maddux of Denton, Dolores Kidd (Donnie) of Mcgregor, Texas and John Anthony Polendo of Whitney, Texas; his grandchildren, Lauren Wilemon, Josh Summers, Logan Polendo, Trey Youngblood, Taylor Maddux, Lindsey Kidd and Kaymen Craven (Cody); and his siblings, Felix Polendo, Mario Polendo and Mary Martinez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory (600 N Ward St, Pampa, TX 79065). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church (810 W 23rd Ave, Pampa, TX 79065). A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memory Gardens Cemetery (2215 N Price Rd, Pampa, TX 79065).
