He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Vera Hancock (Firestone) and John Hancock; his wife Celle Ritchey of Dalhart; his children, Trista Hancock (Jennifer) of North Carolina, Tessa Bradford (Kevin) of Dalhart and Ty Hancock (Leah) of Dalhart; his grandchildren, Isaac, Elise, Josh, Gavin, Lillian, Kenton, Keylee, Lorelai and Carter; his siblings, Gary Hancock (Eva) of Dalhart, Sheryl Hall (Gary) of Dalhart, Nikki Frederick (Keith) of Houston and Kitty Sanford (Tom) of Magnolia; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Ritchey of Dalhart; his siblings-in-law, Wes Ritchey (Melissa), Wade Ritchey (Melissa) of Dalhart and Christi Bass (John) of Fulshear; his father-in-law Curtis Ritchey; his sister-in-law Rhonda Hancock; and also Vera Hancock of Dalhart. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, church family and friends.
