He was predeceased by: his parents, Juber Cope and Louise Cope; and his parents-in-law, Vernon and Margie Fields. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Fields Cope; his children, Kevin Nimmo (Mona) and Hope Hughes; his grandson Jagger Hughes; and his siblings, Martha Roach (Thomas), Cheryl Fields (Benny), Kathy Ballard (Dewayne), Debbie Wood (William), Steve Cope (Beverly), Barry Cope (Tina) and Mike Cope.
