Lauretha Kay Woods White Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 83, Lauretha Kay Woods White of Paris, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah James Woods (B. J.) and Correne Idell Wilson; her brothers, Ardin Ray Woods, James Doyle Woods and Tommy Doyle Woods; and her husbands, Billy Joe Carmon, Sr. and Leonard B. Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Jolinda Sopko (Virginia) of Alexandria, Jody Carmon and Jeanine Plummer of Paris, Texas.; her sisters, Fay Taylor, Julia Dawes, Jenna Armstrong, Sue Woods, Jean Sparks, Ann Burgin and Pam Oyler; and her grandchildren, Kory Carmon, Morgan Sopko, Kameron Carmon, KaLeigh Welch, Karli Jo Carmon Dauernheim, Krisi Carmon Spillman, Lindsay Sopko, Cheyenne Plummer and David Sopko, Jr.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Saving Grace Ministries (901 19th St NW, Paris, TX 75460). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
