She was predeceased by : her parents, Olan Marvin Johnson and Blanche Irene Johnson (Shoemaker); her husband D. W. Risinger; her sisters, Gwenola Mullican and Wanda Elaine Hausler; and her close friend George Hartsfield.

She is survived by : her son Marshall R. Risinger (Barbara); her grandsons, Shannon Ray Risinger and Benjamin Philip Risinger; and her great grandchild Ava Marie Risinger.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Madisonville Funeral Home (1511 E Main St, Madisonville, TX 77864). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oxford Cemetery.
