He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Wanda Elaine Hausler; his parents, John Albert and Amelia Mueller Hausler; his daughters, Tammy (Robert), Wendy (Ricky) and Leslie; his grandchildren, Amanda, Erin Hardy, Evan Gushwa (Alyssa Black), Andrew (Laura), Madison and Avery Fay (Clay Schlosser); and his great grandchildren, Raiden, Eli Gushwa, Isabella and Alessandra Fay. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
