He was predeceased by : his parents, Felipe Mendoza and Soledad Mendoza; his wife Betty Mendoza; his sons, Grant Renault and Kenneth Renault; his daughter-in-law Pricilla Renault; and his siblings, Dr. Sam Mendoza, Ezekiel "Jake" Mendoza, Dr. Roger Mendoza, Connie Garza and Maria "Tanna" Rodriquez.

He is survived by : his children, Kevin Renault (Loretta), Keith Renault, Brian Renault and Grace Clark; his daughters-in-law, Ann Renault and Jenny Renault; and his sister Teresa Vargas. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren.
