She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Garza and Maria Garza (Gloria); her husband Leonel B. Castro; her daughter Gloria Jean Castro; her siblings, Tony Garza, Elida Martinez and Lucy Montez; and her son-in-law Pierre Nys.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Marie Nys, Dr. Melinda Jean Castro (Andrzej Janecki) and Lionel J. Castro (Dorian Vandenberg Rodes); her grandsons, Laurance Nys and Christopher Castro; and her son Craig Keppler. She is also survived by the many friends, family, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Clayton Funeral Home (5530 W Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77584). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
