He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney E. Smith Sr. and Sylvia Leaverna Smith; his brother James Alton Smith; and his wife Ruth Dean Smith. He is survived by: his children, Brenda Weber (Randy), Barney E. Smith III (Valerie) and Sheri Dodd (Billy); his grandchildren, Kristin Rowe (Derrick), Keith Weber (Emily), Kyle Weber (Jessica), Lauren White (Jeff) and David Smith (Adrienne); his great grandchildren, Madison Nicole, Maci Laine, Mitchell Keith, Weston Keith, Sloan Alise, Kate Liberty, Kennedy Rae, Preston Keith, Wesley Elton and Jackson Wayne; and his great great grandchildren, Quinn Nicole and Laine Elise.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Et South Park Funeral Home (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:20 PM at the Et South Park Cemetery (1310 N Main St, Pearland, TX 77581).
