It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine B. Pleasant of Pearland, Texas, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Butler and Sallie Pate Jamison Butler; and her husband Merle Clark Pleasant. She is survived by: her siblings, Nina Layton and Ronnie Butler; her sons, James C. Pleasant and Jerry D Pleasant (Kay Pleasant); her grandchildren, Katherine, Dean, Lindsey, Cody and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Blake, Marley, Colton, Lilly, Adley and Jack.
