She was predeceased by : her parents, Vint Kirk and Bertha Kirk (Hicks); her children, Duane Halsey (Nancy), Pamela Taylor and Brenda Wagner (Tim); and her siblings, Harold Kirk, Glenn Kirk and Rene Smith.
She is survived by : her daughter Pam; her husband Roy Halsey of Bay City, Texas; her son Keith Halsey (Peggy) of Midfield, Texas; her sister Chris Knight (Jim) of Tavares, Florida; and her grandchildren, Evelyn Vowel (Aaron) of Austin, Texas, Meryl Daugherty (Tim) of Round Rock, Texas, Erica Garza (Clifton) of Odessa, Texas, Ashley Lundquist (Anthony) of Rosenberg, Texas, Jenelle Taylor, Alice Wagner, Matthew Wagner, Melanie Wray (Billy) and Charako Applegate (Scott). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
