It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benito G. Elizondo of Pearsall, Texas, born in Moody, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Elizondo and Delfina Garcia Elizondo; his children, Robert Elizondo and Delfina Silva; his siblings, Jose Elizondo, Elias Elizondo, Maria Cuevas, Jesusito Elizondo, Timoteo Elizondo, Julia Medrano and Apolonia Briseno; and his granddaughter Erica Rios Price.

He is survived by : his children, Ana Boast, Benito Elizondo Jr., Maria Nelda Martinez, Melissa Elizondo and Armando Elizondo; his close friend Lydia Zapata; and his siblings, Amelia Elizondo and Johnny Elizondo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
