He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Padilla and Theodora Padilla; his wife Maria Padilla; his sister Gloria P. Taylor; his brothers-in-law, Joe Howard Taylor and Daniel R. Ortiz; and his brother Pete Padilla.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Ureste (Jesse), Cynthia Ortiz (Johnny Hernandez), Amy P. Diaz (Samuel) and Joelle Matilton; and his sibling's children, Elvira P. Kracha and Pete Padilla Jr.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Services - Pearsall (608 E Trinity St, Pearsall, TX 78061). A prayer was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Services of Pearsall (608 E Trinity St, Pearsall, TX 78061). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida Church of Pearsall (211 S Woodlawn St, Pearsall, TX 78061). A burial will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 151 Medical Dr, Pearsall, TX 78061.
