He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Jesus Velasquez Sr. and Alberta Garcia-Velasquez; his wife Amalia Velasquez; and his children, John Paul (Angelica Velasquez), Marivel Velasquez (Fidencio Silva), Roland (Erika Valle), Jessica (Lazaro Montes), Gracie Velasquez, Mark Velasquez, Sandra Migura and Jesse Velasquez (Jesse Duran). He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, brothers and sisters.
