He was predeceased by : his brothers, Pedro and Marcos Berreles. He is survived by : his wife Estella Berreles; his children, Rosie Trevino (Armando), Jose Berrelez, Jr. (Lupe), Ida Berreles and Esmeralda Guerra (Johnny); and his siblings, Jesus Berreles, Gregorio Berreles, Jr., Yolanda Sanchez, Gloria Ruiz and Catarina Huerta. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
