She was predeceased by : her parents, Hortensia Espinosa Alaniz and Lupe Alaniz; her husband Benito G. Elizondo; and her children, Robert Elizondo and Delfina Silva.

She is survived by : her children, Ana Boast, Benito Elizondo Jr., Maria Nelda Martinez and Armando Elizondo. She is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
