She was predeceased by : her parents, Vicente Tovar and Feliza Hernandez; and her sons, Richard Banda, Amparo Banda, Lionel Banda and Jose "Joe" Banda.

She is survived by : her husband Jesus Banda; and her children, Conrad Banda (Patricia), Fermin Banda (Maria), Rosario Reyes (Armando), Antonio Banda (Belen), Anselmo Banda (Angie), Mario Banda (Virginia), Ester Gutierrez (Juan), Sandra Vinton (Joseph), Jackie Chapa (Ruben), Alejandro Banda and Monica Banda. She is also survived by grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
